Thank you from Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones

27 March 2020

The COVID-19 crisis has affected every Ontarian in many different ways. Whether you are in self-isolation with your family, had to close your business, or you have continued to work – the challenges are real for everyone. We’ve all had to find ways to modify, change, or do without items, services and recreational programs that are part of our normal daily lives. I have seen many examples of ingenuity by those who are adapting and I applaud individuals, parents and children who are finding ways to adjust.

Thousands of Ontarians, are at work on the front-line to care for those who are sick and to keep us safe and healthy. There are many others who work behind the scenes ensuring that the goods and services we are relying on are available. First responders are there to help in emergencies, utility workers are keeping our essential services running, grocery stores and essential services are open.

Thank you to each person who is working hard to provide the services, care and support we continue to rely on. Thank you also, to parents, caregivers and individuals who have self-isolated to help stop the spread of the virus. We cannot do this alone and your efforts have made a difference.
