Ontario Government Supporting Non-Profit Organizations in Caledon to Strengthen Community Services

July 15, 2025

CALEDON – The government of Ontario is providing $198,000 in funding to support local non-profit organizations in Caledon through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Capital grant stream. This investment will help improve access to vital community programs, services and facilities that make Caledon a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and play.

“Our government is proud to support organizations that enhance the quality of life for people in Caledon,” said MPP Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin-Caledon. “These recipients are key contributors to our community’s social fabric and economic well-being. This capital funding will help them expand their reach and continue delivering the essential services residents rely on.”

The OTF Capital grant stream is designed to help non-profits and municipalities invest in infrastructure needs that support long-term service delivery. These grants can be used for equipment purchases, facility renovations, retrofits, and repairs – all of which help ensure that programs remain accessible and effective.

In Caledon, the organizations receiving OTF Capital funding include:

  • Caledon Community Services
  • Caledon Soccer Club.

This funding is part of more than $28 million being distributed through the Capital stream across Ontario in 2025 to support 200 community-based initiatives. These grants are a key component of the province’s broader strategy to support resilient communities, strong local economies, and enhance quality of life.

“Across Ontario, non-profit organizations are delivering critical programming that I helping people train for new careers, stay active, learn new things and connect with their community – that’s why capital grant support is so important,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming. “Now more than ever, it is crucial we support homegrown experiences that build stronger communities, strengthen local economies and celebrate our collective identity. This funding will help ensure facilities and spaces are accessible, modern and central to communities across our province”.
