MPP office Open For Business

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Ontario in March, many businesses and offices were required to close to help stop the spread of the virus. Now that we are into Stage 3 across the province, businesses and offices have been re-opening and finding ways to ensure physical distancing and safety precautions are in place.

Throughout the spring and summer, my constituency office continued to serve the needs of Dufferin-Caledon residents. We have been in the office answering your questions, helping to resolve issues, to provide updates about COVID-19, and to deliver information on provincial programs and services.

Recently, we have made some changes to the office to make in-person visits as safe as possible, for both visitors and staff. We want you to feel comfortable when visiting in- person.

We have followed public health guidelines and some noticeable changes that have been implemented include:

  • Visitors entering the office are required to wear a face covering. If you do not have a face covering, we will provide a mask.
  • When possible, please call prior to visiting and set up an appointment time.
  • When you arrive at my office, take a seat in the lobby and a staff member will assist you at the counter.
  • A glass barrier has been installed at the front counter for your protection.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at the counter.
  • Consider emailing your documents, rather than hand-delivering them to the office.
  • Office hours remain unchanged Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm

We are encouraging everyone to continue to do their part. By following the guidelines set out by the Chief Medical Officer of Health and our local Public Health office, we can make a difference and help to stop the spread of the virus.
